4 large bone-in pork chops
2 tablespoons good quality molasses
2 tablespoons smoked paprika
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons cumin
2 tablespoons honey
2 garlic clove, crushed
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 large onion, chopped
Sea salt and black pepper
Extra virgin olive oil
Preheat oven to 300 F
Combine honey, paprika, molasses, garlic, tomato paste, chili and cumin. Add pork chops to coat generously. Season with sea salt and black pepper.
Arrange pork chops on a single layer in a dutch oven or similar. Add onions. Cover and slow bake for 3 hours.
Serve hot.
