Strawberry Angel Food Cake Parfait


4 thick slices of angel food cake
2 cups fresh chopped strawberries
2 cups fresh whipped cream
1/2 cup sliced almonds (optional)
1 cup fresh strawberry
1 lemon, zest

Combine chopped strawberries, zest, and preserve.  Arrange ingredients into four large parfait glasses (refer to picture).  Refrigerate until serving.

Serve chilled.
